Description
At Home and Abroad with David Roche
Martyn Cook, Director of The David Roche Foundation, knew David for 40 years. As an antiques dealer, Martyn developed a strong working relationship with David, which over the years turned into the best of friends and travel companions.
Martyn’s talk covers the development of this friendship, as he spent time sourcing antiques for and with David, both in Australia and around the globe.
This jet-set lifestyle enriched both their lives and Martyn’s irrepressible humour and frank repartee, together with a wealth of images both personal and of aquisitions during their travels, this will make for a highly entertaining evening.
This is the first time Martyn will give a talk on David, since the launch of The David Roche Foundation House Museum in 2016.
