Prepare for Support at Home with Assistive Technologies Don't Wait! Learn the key readiness strategies you can implement now

About this event

Assistive technologies are a key feature of the proposed Support at Home Program

Is your service ready to provide digital monitoring, education and advice to consumers?

Are you confused as to how to start implementing digital technologies?

Are concerned about the skill levels of your workforce?

Assistive technologies help people to live healthy, satisfying and independent lives. There are many devices and systems that are included when we talk about assistive technology. Assistive technologies are central to the Support at Home Program including education, assistance or advice to support consumers to use digital technologies effectively. Many service providers are not taking advantage of Assistive Technologies because they are simply not aware of it and do not have processes in place to assist consumers to access it within their package. At LPA we work with providers who want to embrace technology but are concerned about the necessary infrastructure and issues around privacy.

This webinar provides you with a comprehensive overview of the implementation of assistive technologies. The webinar is designed to help you unlock the potential advantages of using assistive technologies. You will come away from the webinar with a new understanding of how to position and prepare your organisation for assistive technologies. You will know the barriers and challenges to expect and how to overcome them. In summary, you will come away from this webinar fully prepared to implement assistive technologies.

For this webinar, we welcome our guest presenter, Nathan Betteridge, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Lookout.
