Event description

Using FirstRate5 V5.2 and NatHERS Technical Note 1.2

This four-hour workshop, exclusive for BDAV accredited thermal performance assessors, and tailored for those using FirstRate5 v5.2, is an interactive session which will give you the opportunity to confirm that you are correctly utilising the software and technical note. Numbers are limited to a small group to ensure participants maximise their learning outcomes. This workshop program has been highly praised when previously presented.

Step 1: Assessment

Prior to attending the workshop, registrants will be required to complete an assessment on a set of documentation using FirstRate5 v5.2, following the NatHERS Technical Notes 1.2. This assessment typically takes five hours to complete, hence the 9 CPD points allocated for this workshop (5 hours preparation; 4 hours workshop).

Step 2: Submit FIle

The completed assessment must be submitted prior to the workshop to to gain access to the workshop. This will ensure other participants at the workshop are not hindered by anyone not complying with this step.

Step 3: Workshop

Participants must also bring their completed assessment to the workshop (own laptop required) because the assessment will be reviewed in a slide presentation by the presenter showing all the basic features as well as a number of complicated modelling elements.

The workshop is limited to 8 participants. Additional dates may be offered, once the workshop is fully booked, and there is sufficient interest to run another session. This will be an ongoing workshop series while demand exists.

  • Must be an accredited Thermal Performance Assessor
  • Own laptop
  • FirstRate5 v5.2 software
  • Bring your assessment pre-loaded
