Assessment is a fundamental part of an RTO's operations and an assessment system includes the materials used directly in conducting assessment, and the policies, procedures and other supporting documents that inform the way assessment is conducted by an RTO. This session provides practical information on how to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for ongoing and systematic validation of assessment for training products on an RTOs scope. The workshop will cover who should be involved in assessment validation, what is a statistically valid sample, the process for gathering evidence and making judgements and documenting assessment validation outcomes.
