Description

Assertiveness skills and the Power of Saying no

In today's world we are expected to put the customer first whether they are internal or external customers. Many of us are people pleasers and want to deliver results that exceed expectations. Others feel coerced into working longer and longer hours. The results are that we become overworked, stressed out and less productive. Relationships with others become strained. We think that the problem is time management when in reality we simply do not value our own time enough.

In this interactive workshop you will be provided with ways to recognise assertive, non-assertive and aggressive behaviour in yourself and in others. You will have the opportunity to practice verbal and non-verbal behaviours, identify your strengths and weaknesses and come away with a plan for improving communication and taking control of your career.
