Frequently we are faced with situations that require balancing conflicting needs and priorities with a multitude of expectations. As workloads and pressures increase, the ability to effectively balance these expectations and engage in productive and positive interactions is increasingly important.
Assertiveness skills will allow you to be more successful when:
Building and sustaining productive relationships
Negotiating – enabling you to consider all viewpoints and positions in a balanced manner
Resolving conflict by using communication techniques that do not create or inflame emotions, and drive more constructive outcomes
Reviewing performance and providing feedback in a constructive and direct manner with ambiguity removed to achieve the intended result
Building team dynamics by stating objectives and keeping performance focused
Improving internal and external customer service by clarifying and resolving points of difference or misalignment.
The program is highly interactive and includes individual and group exercises and extensive opportunity for the practice and reinforcement of skills and concepts introduced.
Comparison of Assertive, Non-assertive and Aggressive Styles
Recognise different types of behaviour and the short comings of aggressive and non-assertive responses
Assist participants recognise their own style(s) of communication and to identify their own personal shortcomings and areas for development

Expert Facilitator - Mark Bramwell is a highly experienced and skilled facilitator with a passion for assisting participants develop outstanding communication skills that will lead to improved personal and career outcomes.
Training Manual - all participants receive a comprehensive training manual that provides in-depth information about the material covered in the program. The manual includes an ‘Action Plan’ to assist achieve immediate tangible outcomes from participation and a series of group and individual activities and exercises to assist improved development outcomes from participation.
Follow up phone call - to assist the achievement of tangible improvements from program participation, all attendees receive a follow up phone call one month after the session. This is to review progress achieved in the implementation of the 'Action Plan' and to answer questions and reinforce techniques learnt.
Food and Refreshments - All food is provided as part of your program participation. Morning tea from 10:30 - 10:45am, lunch from 12:30 - 1:15pm and tea, coffee, filtered water, mints and biscuits through out the course of the day.

All cancellations will incur an administration fee of $12.50. If notification is received more than 14 days prior to the course a full refund less administration fee will be provided. Cancellations between 7 and 14 days prior to the course will result in a 50% refund less administration fee. If notification of cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to the course, fees will not be refunded. If a course is cancelled by us, a full refund will be provided.

Mark Bramwell is the founder and principal consultant of Bramwell Solutions. He has more than 15 years experience in designing and delivering organisation development initiatives.
Mark is a skilled trainer, facilitator, coach and performance feedback provider. He has extensive expertise in areas of interpersonal communications, organisational dynamics and survey methodologies. Mark’s passion for consulting is driven by a desire to assist individuals realise their potential, and to assist organisations maximise their performance.
Mark has a depth of experience, working closely with small business through to some of Australia’s leading Blue Chip organisations. He is a skilled communicator, able to engage employees from graduates through to senior executives.
His qualifications include:

- Graduate Diploma of Applied Science – Professional Psychology
- Bachelor of Science (Human Movement and Psychology)
Mark is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development.
