Aspiring Behaviour Support Programme 2026 (Online)
Overview
Delivered over six live interactive online sessions with Dr. Fiona Davis (Specialist Practitioner). This intensive program combines expert knowledge, practical application, and real-world examples to help you build strong foundations in behaviour support practices.
You will gain:
· A clear understanding of Specialised Behaviour Support and the Disability Services Act.
· Guidance on navigating the NDIS Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
· Skills in developing quality and compliant Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
· Insight into Restrictive Practices identification and strategies for implementing least restrictive alternatives.
· Guidance in completing your NDIS Self-Assessment Framework and compile required evidence for practitioner progression.
This program is tailored to those looking to enter or progress within the field of Specialised Behaviour Support, which is mapped directly to the NDIS Capability Framework.
Who Should Attend?
This program is ideal for you if you:
· Hold a qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Education, or a related discipline.
· Have experience supporting people with disability, mental health, or complex needs.
· Are seeking to complete your NDIS Self-Assessment Framework to begin or advance your registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
· Can commit to six interactive, live online sessions (please note, sessions are not recorded).
