Event description

Description

We are pleased to organise a workshop specific to the social and emotional needs of Asian youths. We have partnered with the team at humanSoftware whose senior clinicians have many years of working in mental health and supporting young people through developmental transitions and life stressors. Of particular interest is that of our Asian young people who face multiple difficulties integrating to a new country.

The workshop will be interactive involving both teaching and experiential practices.

Participants will receive:

  • Ø Knowledge in how to operate more skilfully when under pressure
  • Ø Skills to manage difficult emotions
  • Ø Greater awareness and understanding of developmental needs and day to day pressures
  • Ø Understanding their own unique cultural identity
  • Ø Takeaway tools that can be used in everyday life at study, work and home to expand our ability to be effective and happy in life.
