This year's focus is on Marketing • Product Development • Packaging Design • Export markets.

Over 2 days, local and international industy professionals, will cover topics on international and local spirits with a focus on product development to bring delegates up to speed with that's happening around the globe and inspire development in their own business.

Targeted education on critical aspects of the industry will give valuable take-away knowledge to all delegates.

Networking with like-minded delegates helps foster the exchange of ideas, bring inspiration and develop new business relations.

The Conference on day one will focus on the direction and wider aspects of the distilled beverage industry - present and future trends, what's popular and which markets are consuming which spirits. Australian Icons of Whisky Awards. On the evening of the Conference, Monday 27th August, a dinner will be held to recognise the people and businesses in whisky in Australia and tickets are available to be present. Those awarded will be in the semi-finals to compete with other countries at the World Icons of Whisky Awards in London next March. The judging is done by you, the industry, and administered from London. Keep an eye out in industry news for when voting opens in July.

Is this event open to everyone?
No, only people working in the spirits industry - production, sales or hospitality.

How do I choose the seminars and workshops I wish to attend on day 2?
Look at the timetable on our website and you go to the seminar room for that session on the day. There is no reqirement to pre book.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Adelaide Oval and Grand Chancellor Hotel both have has a parking nearby at parking stations.
The most convenient way to attend is by public transport.

What's the refund policy?
Tickets are not refundable, but they are transferrable to another person.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes bring your ticket - either printed on paper or on a mobile device.
The QR code is required to be scanned - that's the square one with dots and lines in it.

Can I update my registration information?
Yes, you can log into Eventbrite using your email address and password you set when purchasing your ticket - or you can contact us to do this for you. The name on the ticket does not need to be the holder's name.

Is my ticket transferrable?
Yes, your ticket is transferrable to another person. You can simply give the ticket to another person. There is no need to change the name but if you wish to do this it can be done by logging into the Eventbrite website and changing it there.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, the name on the ticket is not relevant for entry. Only the barcode is required to be scanned.
