ASEM Lifelong Learning Hub RN4 Conference - Day 2

Engaging Young People in Lifelong Learning:Asian and European Policies and Practices

The ASEM Lifelong Learning (LLL) Hub is an official network of Asian and European higher education institutions, working and learning together to achieve excellence in comparative research on lifelong learning, to offer research-based education policy recommendation, and to develop mutual understanding between Asia and Europe.

The ASEM LLL Hub provides a platform for dialogue between researchers, practitioners and policy makers in order to contribute to evidence-based educational reform and innovation. Its Research Network 4, on ‘National Strategies for Lifelong Learning’ is meeting on 1-2 December 2015, for discussion of the topic, ‘Engaging Young People in Lifelong Learning’.

The first day is a public event for researchers, policy makers and practitioners (see separate flier). The second, from 9.00am until 12.15pm, is for research presentations, including a keynote address from Professor  Johanna Wyn, University of Melbourne.

All those interested in research on lifelong learning, and particularly as it is relevant to young people and their lifelong learning, are invited to attend these presentations. Morning tea will be provided.
