About the play (that will be in Portuguese)

Inspired by one of the most meaningful musical play dedicated for kids in Brazil, The Saltimbancas tells a story about the adventures of four animals who after a lifetime of hard work are neglected and mistreated by their formers owner they decided to run away to the city and try to become musicians.

Talking about fundamental values ​​in a simple way, this play is fun all around, fun not only for the kids but also for the whole family. For Brazilians who live abroad and want to keep the culture and also the language for your children, this play will certainly help to spread it through the new generation.

The 2020 adaptation of "As Saltibancas" debuting in Australia, presents four actresses from a family of artists. They are staging this play as a gift for Anne, a teenager niece who is celebrating her birthday.

Through an interesting Metalanguage (theatre inside the theatre) these actresses will show us the animals in the same situation, but in a different point of view: the female world.
