All artists in one way or another deal with memory. These may be lived memories such as those associated with place or emotion, memories where you can longer be sure of either the validity of them or which part actually happened and transactive memories where the memories were experienced by someone else and appropriated. It can be difficult sometimes to tell the difference. Alan Todd will discuss memory in relation to his work.
