Event description

Description

Come along, engage and be inspired with like-minded and creative people who are equally passionate about ensuring effective climate leadership across all levels of society, business and politics. People who are also actively interested in the role for arts and creativity in this leadership.

  • How can climate and environmental activism benefit from engaging more creative and artful approaches?
  • How can artists and arts organisations take on a greater leadership role in facilitating responses to climate change?
  • What are the stories and projects you’re working on, or interested in, and how can we harness opportunities together?
  • How can we nurture irresistible culture change, embedding different values through the power of arts and culture?
  • How much satisfaction could we gain from undertaking this important and urgent leadership work?

This event will be more than good conversation — you also leave having explored opportunities to co-create or collaborate and have some solid ‘next steps’ in place.

THE PROCESS: OPEN SPACE TECHNOLOGY

The workshop will be facilitated using a ‘self organising’ process known as ‘Open Space Technology’ which is highly interactive and allows everyone to address their own questions, issues and ideas. Everyone’s voice will be equal and everyone is free to choose their own level of involvement. We will also be identifying clear next steps, so this won’t just be a ‘talkfest’.

ARRIVAL

We ask you to arrive by no later than 8:45am for a prompt 9:00am start.
