Event description
Experience these truly special art workshops with two amazing artists this October for Queensland Mental Health Week

About this Event

Richmond Fellowship Queensland (RFQ) is proud to offer a series of art workshops led by two of Queensland's very talented artists as a special Mental Health Week event.

Phoebe Hofsteede (photographer and mixed media artist) and Maria Watson-Trudgett (Aboriginal contemporary artist) will be leading workshops in their own special way to bring their style of art to you.

Held at RFQ's Herston Hub from Monday 12 October to Saturday 17 October 2020, there will be two workshops available per day.

The cost per workshop is $15. Materials are provided.

Please read the Terms & Conditions before booking.

As capacity is limited for these workshops RFQ requests participants to please book ONE workshop only. If you would like to attend workshops by both artists, please register this information when filling out your booking details. If a place is available after bookings close you will be notified.

Bookings open Monday 3 August and close Monday 28 September 2020.

(Bookings are restricted to a maximum of 12 participants per workshop.)

Phoebe Hofsteede will provide an introduction to the art of flower pressing, and how to delicately craft, design and adhere them to create elegant and unique collages. Participants are welcome to submit photographs of their own to info@rfq.com.au (before the closing date of 28 September) or use photographs Phoebe will provide on the day. Phoebe has exhibited her work at the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition.
