Description

Learn the basics of the ancient Japanese art of Shibori. Suitable for any level of craftiness.

Kristy Scaddan will be teaching 4 different techniques of wrapping, tying, clamping then dyeing in Indigo baths. Choose your favourite of the 4 techniques to then dye your very own pre cut scarf to take home. Kristy will supply 2 practice squares of 100% cotton and 1 large scarf to create your master piece. You can bring 2 small pre-washed items from home that you would like to try dyeing. White, lightweight cotton works best like pillow cases or cushion covers.

This is a messy and creative way to spend a Friday evening so grab a friend and book in!

WHAT WILL I BRING

All materials will be supplied however you are welcome to bring small prewashed fabric pieces from home you wish to dye.
