Description

Immerse yourself in art and nature...

Join us in the natural beauty of Brookfield Conservation Park to learn how to sculpt silver metal clay into your very own unique piece of jewellery to take home.

Learn this unusual technique under the professional guidance of Adelaide Hills artist Tania Kunze, while an expert from Adelaide University speaks with us about the importance of Brookfield’s mallee sands and clays to the South Australian icon, the southern hairy-nosed wombat.

Artist: Tania Kunze

Scientist: Casey O’Brien, PhD candidate, Ecology and Environmental Science

Location: Brookfield Conservation Park Science Camp-Sturt Highway, 15km west of Blanchetown

Cost: $50 per person. Which includes silver metal clay and workshop materials. Coffee, tea and lunch will be supplied.

The Inspiring South Australia program is supported by the Australian Government through the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, the South Australian Department of State Development, the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia, Flinders University and the South Australian Museum.
