Description

Immerse yourself in art and nature...suncatchers by the wetland

Looking for a fun and educational day out for the kids this school holidays? This is it! This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for kids to get in touch with their creative sides, explore, and learn about wetlands in a wonderful natural setting. All children will create their own coloured suncatcher to take home at the end of the day.

Adelaide Hills artist Tania Kunze will be teaching children how to melt coloured plastic beads into suncatchers, which will be ready to take home on the same day! Local scientist Nicola Barnes will also be joining us to teach us about the animals and plants that inhabit the park.

Artist: Tania Kunze

Scientist: Nicola Barnes

Location: Laratinga Wetlands, Bald Hills Road, Mount Barker

Cost: $20 per child, $5 per adult. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Ticket cost for children includes materials and lunch. Ticket cost for adults includes lunch.
