Art for Art's Sake - Social Art Group for Adults

The Maylands Library has started a new social art group, offering a chance to reconnect with your creative side. This isn't a class—it's a relaxed, welcoming space where you can work on your own projects alongside fellow artists. Whether you enjoy drawing, colouring, or painting with watercolours or inks, you're invited to join this new initiative.

The group will meet every Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at the Maylands Library. Bring your own supplies and projects to work on; no formal instruction or materials will be provided. The focus is on creating a friendly atmosphere where you can practice your craft and enjoy the company of other like-minded individuals.

Since the group meets in an enclosed space, please limit your materials to those that are low-odour, such as drawing pencils, coloured pencils, watercolours, or inks.

There will be no session on Thursday 11 December 2025.
