The January 2017 RealKM Connect forum explores the practical application of standards to knowledge processes. Guest presenter, Arthur Shelley, will run through the existing ISO and AU standards and guidelines, and an audit of knowledge processes using the Knowledge Ready Organization assessment criteria (that is aligned with the standards' requirements).
Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to use the material to create a prioritised plan for application with a real or theoretical business environment.
About the presenter
Arthur Shelley is a capability development and knowledge strategy consultant with over 30 years' professional experience. He has held a variety of professional roles including managing international projects in Australia, Europe, Asia and USA and teaches Knowledge Management in RMIT University MBA program and Project Leadership in the Master of Project Management. His PhD studies explored the influence of behaviour in project team environments and how metaphor could be used to develop productive interactions and conversations.
About the facilitator
RealKM Connect is facilitated by Amanda Surrey, a strategic Knowledge Management professional with extensive experience in global business environments, including BHP Billiton where she worked for the past 14 years.
She has planned, managed and executed innovative knowledge management solutions that have enhanced workforce intelligence and overall organisational competitiveness.
Amanda holds post graduate qualifications in Information Management, and a Master of Arts.
