July Joint Association Event - Are you and your teams engaged?

The Canberra Branch of International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), along with Canberra Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)Harvard Club of Australia (HCA)Institute of Managers and Leaders, and Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) would like to invite you to our July Joint Association Event!

At this event, we will visualise an organisation, that you can relate to, where all staff are engaged. We will carefully consider why staff become disengaged and I'll propose a method for addressing this constructively that you can test, in your organisation, with your people, in your contexts.

The event will be held at the Hellenic Club in the City. We wish to thank you for your continued support and hope that you will be able to attend.

James Young, Training Master, Redgrass Communications

Profile Image - James Young

James caught a passion for helping organisations with staff engagement after working in research, government and private sectors - with brief stints in not for profit organisations on specific projects - from 2000 to 2016. Seeing engaged staff in any sector is mesmerising - truly wonderful and powerful. When staff are disengaged, cultures suffer and places can become rather confronting. James doesn’t want to imply that dealing with staff is easy, however engagement is something that can be addressed with hard work (and compulsory fun).

Since leaving academia (entomology) and government in mid-2014, James has specialised in advising, training and mentoring people in private, public and not for profit sectors. Topics/services include:

  • Team development, futures planning, collaboration and growth through change.
  • Mentoring initiative design and one-on-one services.
  • Innovation: initiative design, staff empowerment.
  • Meeting facilitation.

James uses his photography wherever he can.
