Controlling or sensing the world around you may seems like a super power but that's exactly what you can do with Arduino electronics!
Arduinos are microcontrollers with a huge supportive community build around it. They make electronics and programming accessible to anyone including artists, engineers, kids, adults, creatives, and more!
This workshop is aimed to get beginners started with Arduinos. No electronics or coding experience needed! The workshop includes:
- Learn about Arduinos are
- Get inspired about what you can do with Arduino
- Beginner electronics theory
- Beginner programming skills
- Work through a simple project as a group with all steps explained in detail
- Pick your own sensor and see if you can get it to work (with plenty of help available if you need it!)
What to bring:
- A laptop!
- If your laptop only had type-c ports, bring a type-c to type-a USB adaptor so you'll be able to plug in the Arduino.
