Event description
Learn how the science of human flourishing can help you nurture a strong, creative culture in your architecture practice.

About this Event

Come along to our Architects Leadership Series focus on Culture + Wellbeing and hear leading experts share evidence-based research on the benefits of creating a strong, supportive culture in your architecture practice.

Sue Langley, Global Speaker and expert in Emotional Intelligence, Neuroscience and Positive Leadership, will share practical ways you can turn the science of human flourishing into simple and practical tools to benefit your practice.

Brian Clohessy, Head of People and Character at BVN Architecture and winner of the Australian Institute of Architects NSW 2019 Best in Practice Prize award, will share his unique insights on fostering creativity through a supportive culture in architecture.

With increasing pressures on architects in a fast-paced business environment, a culture of overwork and long hours are the norm. Practices striving for higher productivity, cost-reduction and results are struggling to find the balance needed for wellbeing. Over recent years however, there has been a growing awareness of the need to improve this culture in architecture. Your people are the key to your success. Happy, thriving people are more engaged, more productive and work more collaboratively.

You will walk away from this event with practical tools you can implement in your practice immediately.
