Description

William Thomas held the positions of Assistant Protector of Aborigines and Guardian of Aborigines in the mid to late 1800s. He built a homestead on what is now Bush Reserve. In 2013, Moreland Council engaged archaeologists to excavate the footings as part of the Bush Reserve redevelopment. Adrian Burrow, a Senior Heritage Advisor will speak about the archaeological dig at this site of state significance. Presented by the Coburg Historical Society.
