Description

ARCA is delighted to announce its ninth series of ARCA Executive Breakfasts to be held in Sydney on Wednesday 9 May 2018. These events are sponsored by Equifax.

(*Due to popular demand, the ARCA Executive Breakfast has been relocated to a larger venue. The event will now be held at The Westin Sydney with all timings remaining the same.*)

Our topic is Best Practice Implementation of CCR. With members and industry participants working towards going live with CCR, it is great timing to provide industry insights into best practice for leveraging and consuming positive data - and for early mover CPs to share key CCR implementation lessons.

Agenda:

Best Practice Implementation of CCR

1. Keynote presentation by Kevin McDonald, CRO of ASB Bank in New Zealand: Best practices for leveraging/consuming positive data

Transition to CCR in Australia will reform data consumption and decision-making processes. It is time for an industry-wide update on facilitating best practice for data transition and portfolio management, including:

  • How will positive data impact credit decisions and the ongoing management of credit facilities, including the key differences from a negative-only environment and the flow-on effects?

  • What do CPs need to do to ensure their systems are ready to effectively and pro-actively consume positive data?

  • Use cases

2. Panel Discussion: Key implementation lessons

With many CPs about to publicly contribute CCR data for the first time, it is important to understand and learn from the experiences of the early movers.

  • Overcoming technical challenges

  • Navigating EDR and regulatory issues

  • Consumer and call centre findings and implications

  • Multi bureau implications

Panel participants will include:

  • Matt Duncan, Head of Credit Strategy & Infrastructure, Credit Portfolio Management, Consumer Lending, Products and Markets, NAB

  • Glenn Becker, Head of Enterprise Risk, Teachers’ Mutual Bank

  • Paul Abbey, CRO, MoneyPlace

  • Geri Cremin, Head of Regulatory Compliance and PRDE, ARCA

3. Q and A

Members and industry guests will have the opportunity to ask questions from the floor relating to CCR implementation issues. Our facilitator will be Mike Cutter, Group Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Equifax.
