Description

Research Opportunity and Performance Evidence (ROPE) is an opportunity to speak about you as a researcher with your unique strengths and impact to your field, taking the unique circumstances of your research journey into account. This session provides the opportunity to edit/review and re-write your ROPE.

Aimed at: UC staff to assist them with their plans to apply for an Australian Research Council (ARC) in the coming year(s). Bring along your lunch and we will provide coffee and tea.

Prerequisites: A draft of your project idea (1-2 pages) and of your ROPE is required..

About the ARC/NHMRC workshop series

Hone your skills in putting together ARC/NHMRC grant applications. These workshops are all those who are planning to apply for ARC funding in the coming 1-3 years. The workshops in this series include:

  • Pitch your idea
  • Building an ARC Budget and Budget justification
  • Writing a compelling ARC Proposal Summary
  • Writing a compelling ARC Research Opportunity and Performance Evidence (ROPE) Story
  • Writing a compelling Project Description
