Description

HIGHLIGHTS:

Baldwin's Bluf Trail and Lookout | 6 km Return | Difficulty: beginner friendly | Time: allow 2 hours

This lesser known trail in Serpentine National Park is a challenging hike for those just beginning. It begins with a moderately steep 2km. For anyone new to hiking, the climb is hard enough to test you but still short enough to make it enjoyable.

MEETING POINT AND GETTING THERE:

Located about an hours drive from Perth, make your way down South Western Hwy, and the park is located on Falls road south of Jarrahdale. The trail starts at the Serpentine National Park.

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET:

Your ticket includes a start to finish guided hike with our trained hike leaders. Hike leaders carry communication devices and first aid kits for your safety. Feel comfortable knowing that we will guide you through your hiking experience and you can relax and enjoy. Your ticket also covers licences and registration fees to hold group hike events in National Parks in WA. Please note a 10% ticket fee charged by Eventbrite to all ticket sales

TRAIL DIFFICULTY:

Bush Walk: Beginner friendly, but be prepared for some steep inclines, but a great opportunity to experience a more hilly hike with a short distance.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:

  • Bring plenty of water ( at least 2 litres per person)

  • Comfortable clothes and sturdy trainers or hiking boots. With the uneven gravel trail at times, good grip soles are advised.

PARK ENTRY FEES:

A national park entry fee of $12 per vehicle is payable at the entrance. If you are an RAC member, you can get 50% off an anual parks pass which allows your free access to all national parks! Carpooling is a great idea for this hike.

PETS:

As this is a national Park, no dogs are allowed.

FITNESS:

No experience required, but the ability to walk on gravel trails and uneven surfaces. If you want to get started with gravel trails, hiking sticks are a great option to help you with stability.
