Our bodies and minds are complex interactive systems that respond, adapt and grow in response to many kinds of information. Being able to enter these feedback loops and guide aspects of ourselves towards greater achievement is both challenging and exciting. Neuromodulation as a science is expanding at a rapid pace and its utility in many fields of endeavour is becoming more evident. This yields new and challenging opportunities for us. A rich array, and what may appear as divergent pathways towards self-regulation, are being presented to us. We need to keep pace with what is emerging, critique its potential, and integrate valuable new knowledge (Jon Hegg, ANSA Immediate Past-President).
