APMP Practitioner OTE Preparation Workshop - Thurs, 6 May (3.5 hours)
Event Information
About this event
The APMP Certification program is the only globally recognised professional qualification designed specifically for proposal management professionals. This 3.5 hour training workshop helps candidates prepare for the Practitioner Objective Testing Examination (OTE), introduced in July 2019. The workshop covers all the content as approved by the APMP (www.apmp.org). You then organise and take the 2.5 hour exam in your own time when you are ready.
This session will be held on-line via Zoom. Session logon details will be emailed to you closer to the day, after you have registered.
Prerequisites
Practitioner Certification is aimed at those who have worked in a bids or proposals environment for at least three years (this is an entry requirement for the exam) as well as experienced bid managers who wish to progress to the APMP Professional level. You must also have completed (and passed) the APMP Foundation exam, which demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of best practices. Practitioner demonstrates mastery of how to apply best practices and lead others in their use.
Pricing
The price for this workshop is AUD$85 plus GST and the Eventbrite booking fee. Please note that APMP membership is a prerequisite for being able to register at this price. Your APMP membership number will be required during the booking process. (Note: credit card payment may attract an additional transaction fee - check with your bank.)
APMP membership and the Practitioner exam fee are NOT included in the cost of the workshop but can be purchased separately online at www.apmp.org.
The APMP Practitioner OTE Preparation Guide (V 1.3) will be used as a reference source for the workshop. APMP members can download that guide for free: https://www.apmp.org/page/AccreditPractitioner.
Workshop Presenter
The workshop is presented by BidWrite's co-founder, Nigel Dennis. Nigel has arguably done more to shape the landscape of bidding professionalism in the region than any other person. He started the APMP Australia New Zealand Chapter in 2008 and was the first Australian to achieve APMP Professional certification. In 2015 he was inducted as an APMP Fellow for services to the profession. He is the only Australian with this honour and one of only 101 people worldwide. With degrees in engineering and business, and with bidding experience of 27 years, he is a strong advocate for development of the proposal profession.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your place at no cost up to 7 days in advance; you'll receive a full refund of all the costs other than Eventbrite's booking fee. If you cancel less than 7 days before the event, no refund is payable but you're welcome, at no cost, to nominate a colleague to attend in your place.
Minimum registration numbers apply, but a full refund will be processed if the course does not proceed for any reason. A decision to cancel the workshop due to insufficient numbers will be made two weeks prior to the workshop date.
