APMP Foundation Level Online Training/Exam - Wed, 17 Feb - Thurs, 18 Feb
Event Information
About this event
The APMP Certification programme is the only globally recognised professional qualification designed specifically for proposal management professionals. This training workshop helps candidates prepare for the APMP Foundation level examination. It covers all the content as approved by the APMP (www.apmp.org).
The workshop is aimed at those who have worked in a bids or proposals environment for at least a year (this is an entry requirement for the exam) as well as experienced bid managers who wish to progress to the APMP Practitioner and APMP Professional levels.
Content and Structure
The workshop will lead you through APMP's syllabus, maximising your chance of passing. The course covers each of the five APMP key competency areas in turn: 1. Information Research and Management 2. Scheduling 3. Development 4. Management 5. Sales Orientation
This is a live online version of the workshop that has previously only been run in a face-to-face format for the APMP ANZ Chapter. This online workshop is run as a Zoom meeting over two half days (from 12:00pm to 3:30pm AEDT each day). Links for each day, as well as PDF version of a course workbook (the slides), will be emailed separately just prior to the workshop.
At the end of the workshop (on Day 2), you will sit the online Foundation exam. The exam is a one hour, 75 question, multiple choice format. You can also sit the exam later in your own time if you prefer.

Workshop Presenter
The workshop is presented by BidWrite's co-founder, Nigel Dennis. Nigel has arguably done more to shape the landscape of bidding professionalism in the region than any other person. He started the APMP Australia New Zealand Chapter in 2008 and was the first Australian to achieve APMP Professional certification. In 2015 he was inducted as an APMP Fellow for services to the profession. He is the only Australian with this honour and one of only 101 people worldwide. With degrees in engineering and business, and with bidding experience of 26 years, he is a strong advocate for development of the proposal profession.
