Event description

Description

Please join us in attending the 2017 APAC CCS Forum hosted by the Global CCS Institute, the world’s leading authority on carbon capture and storage.

This year’s forum will highlight key CCS developments in the Asia Pacific region and the vital role of this technology in achieving international climate change targets. The event will also discuss how we can increase and diversify support for CCS as a pivotal climate change mitigation technology.

You will be joined at this event by other experts, academics, government representatives and decision-makers so we hope you will be able to attend.

  • Speakers will include:

    • Ambassador Patrick Suckling, Australian Ambassador for the Environment

    • Martin Ferguson AM, Chairman, CO2CRC

    • Samantha McCulloch, Energy Analyst, International Energy Agency

    • Tony Wood, Energy Program Director, Grattan Institute

You can find a provisional agenda for the event here.

GLOBAL CCS INSTITUTE MEMBERS - Please note that there will be a separate Members meeting in the morning of the Forum (from 7.30-8.40am). Please make sure you confirm your presence on the registration form.
