Speakers:
Dr Robert Ormerod is a certified specialist prosthodontist and has been in private practice since 1991. Extremely passionate about excellence in dentistry, Robert is an active member of a number of local and international societies, academies and associations.
Robert is a past president of the Prosthodontic Society of SA and has lectured at his alma mater for several years at an under graduate and post graduate level.
A specialist in cosmetic dental reconstructions, he has extensive experience in treating some of the most difficult cases. Depending on the specific needs of his patients, Robert utilises ceramic veneers, tooth coloured restorations, dental implants, crowns, bridges and dentures to achieve desired results.
He enjoys a team approach, working in conjunction with other dental practitioners and dental specialists (periodontists, maxillo-facial surgeons and orthodontists) who all share a vision of excellence in the treatment and on-going oral health and well-being of patients.
Dr. Andreas Siebold is a specialist in Periodontics and Oral Medicine in private practice in Johannesburg.
He went to the German school in Johannesburg and studied and specialized at the University of Pretoria. After living in Germany for three years,he obtained his PhD (Dr.med.dent.) at the Ludwig Maximilian’s University in Munich.
Dr. Siebold is the past president of the South African Society for Periodontology as well as the South African Society for Dental Implantology and was a member of the Board of Directors in charge of education at the South African Dental Association.
It gives him great pleasure to mentor postgraduate students at the Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University.
