‘Conflict and Sacrifice Remembered’

The significance and symbolism of the ANZAC Parade Memorials.

This tour visits the memorials which line the iconic Anzac Parade, commemorating the service and sacrifice of Australian servicemen and women. Each memorial was created by a different artist to tell a story. Discover these stories on a memorable walk with a National Capital Authority guide.

Length: 1.5 hours (standard)

Starting Point: The Stone of Remembrance, base of the front steps of the Australian War Memorial.

Please note:

  • This walking tour is wheelchair accessible.

  • Enclosed shoes and hat recommended.

  • Please bring your own water bottle.

  • Walking tours will not go ahead in cases of extreme weather.

  • No toilets available along ANZAC Parade.
