ANU NECTAR - Early Career Academic Forum

Do we - the Early Career Academics of ANU - have burning questions for VC Brian Schmidt?

You bet!

Every year the Early Career Academic network - NECTAR - meet with the ANU Executive to ask with a powerful collective voice! This event affects real change at ANU. What will be the pivotal question of 2018?

This forum builds key skills and deliberately discusses the needs of the ECAs of ANU. What is the challenges that we face, the common themes, the skills/support most needed? Featuring a direct collegial discussion with the University’s executive leaders.

Featuring collegial discussion with Professor Brian Schmidt, Vice-Chancellor and Nobel Laureate, together with NECTAR on Wednesday, 25 July. Preceded by a workshop preparing our questions so we can ask with a powerful collective voice.

Marnie Hughes-Warrington, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic will attend on 24 July for a similar discussion.

There will also be panel discussions and workshops on key topics of relevance to Early Career Academics.

We are currently seeking Early Career Academics of ANU to enable this discussion to get to the heart of what you want to talk about, join the Form Working Group by contacting NECTAR through Sophie and Hannah nectar@anu.edu.au +61 2 6125 7165.
