Start your ANU NAIDOC Week celebrations with the ANUSA Indigenous Department at our launch event on Level 1 in the Marie Reay Teaching Centre. Join us for a Welcome to Country given by Traditional Ngunnawal/Ngambri Custodian Uncle Wally Bell and an introductory lecture on the topic of treaty, recognition and rights by Ngiyampaa PhD student Maeve Powell.

Morning tea of tea and coffee; fruit platters; and a selection of cakes and slices will be available for attendees.

This event is located on Level 1 of the Marie Reay Teaching Centre. The venue for this event is physically accessible. There are accessible and gender-neutral bathrooms within the building. The closest parking (including accessible parking spaces) is the Kambri underground carpark.

If you have any accessibility requirements or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact ANUSA Indigenous Department at sa.indigenous@anu.edu.au.
