ANU G-Week 2019
Description
Are you thinking about graduation, or graduating this Semester? Then G-Week is for you!
The graduation process can be uncertain and complicated, from unfamiliar terminology to knowing what you need to submit and when, to entry into the professional workforce. G-Week is here to help you navigate your preparations for graduation through a program of workshops, information sessions and events which bring together ANU services, such as:
- Engagement and Success
- Student Central (including Sponsored Students)
- Global Programs
- Careers
- Examinations, Graduations and Prizes
- Advancement (Alumni Relations)
- ANU LGBTIQ+ Alumni Network
- Batyr and;
- Various academic colleges and residential halls.
Events are free of charge, are open to all final-semester and future graduating students, and include:
Monday 21st October:
10:00am-2:00pm: G-Week Launch Event- Kambri Lawn
11:00am-12:00pm: Wellbeing workshop- Marie Reay 5.05
12:00pm-1:00pm: Reverse Culture Shock workshop- Marie Reay 2.02
Tuesday 22nd October:
12:00pm-2:00pm: LinkedIN photo booth- Marie Reay Level 3
2:00pm-3.30pm: 'Plan B' Careers workshop- Marie Reay 3.02
5.30pm-7.30pm: Pathfinder: Speed Mentoring- aMBUSH Art Gallery, Kambri
- Join us for a Pathfinder event with a modern twist, as we combine mentoring elements with speed dating for an educational, fun and fast paced professional networking event!

Wednesday 23rd October:
9:00am-10:00am: Graduation information session- Marie Reay 2.02
6:00pm-7.30pm: ANU LGBTIQ+ Alumni Network: Informal drinks and networking- Badger & Co.
- Join the ANU LGBTIQ+ Alumni Network for informal networking drinks at Badger & Co. - drinks and nibbles are on us!
- The ANU LGBTIQ+ Alumni network fosters community and builds stronger links between ANU LGBTIQ+ alumni, students, staff, faculty, parents, and straight allies. Their networking events are a wonderful way to meet new people, discuss important issues, and be part of diverse and incredible ommunity of alumni.

Thursday 24th October:
12:00pm-2:00pm: Feast of Stangers- Kambri Lawn bench seating area
6pm-7.30pm: ANU Women's Alumni Network- China in the World Lecture Theatre
- We believe in supporting our female identifying alumni as they move into their chosen life paths. It gives us great pleasure to invite you to a special event organised for new and established women alumni.

Friday 25th October:
11:00am-12:00pm: Closing Event- Kambri Amphitheatre/Sullivan's Creek
- Note: this event is only open to students who have attended at least one G-Week event.
12:00pm-1:00pm: Reverse Culture Shock workshop- Marie Reay 4.02
4:00pm-5:00pm: Graduation Information session- Marie Reay 2.02
