About this event

In the near future, Earth has become uninhabitable. Fortunately, scientists discover a new planet for humans to colonise – but the only problem is that it’ll take 86 years to get there. To that end, crew of young men and women are sent deep into space on a multi-generational mission, with the ultimate goal of having their grandchildren start over in this brave new world.

To fortify them for the long haul, the astronauts are fed a daily blue liquid containing vitamins. Supposedly. As a few of the crew soon discover, however, the liquid is actually designed to suppress negative tendencies like rage, jealously, lust and disobedience. Defying their training and liberating themselves from the drug, they all eventually revert to their most primitive nature, as the mission for the future of the human race descends into chaos.

Voyagers takes an intriguing premise and a game cast of young actors to deliver a thought-provoking, sci-fi version of "Lord of the Flies" – but in space.
