Antarctica & Arctic Cruising Info Night
Tue. 11 April 2017, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm AEST
A trip to Antarctica is the ultimate in adventure, a chance to push through ice-filled seas, float past soaring mountains and observe the drama of wildlife as they go about their lives in an environment like no other. In the Arctic, we cruise under the midnight sun, past ancient glaciers in search of the elusive polar bear. If you’ve ever dreamt of setting foot on these remote and beautiful landscapes, then come along to our Polar Information Evening to learn about the expedition cruising experience in Antarctica and Arctic, including a typical day, what you can expect to see, do and feel, as well as information for preparing for a cruise to some of the wildest and most incredible destinations on the planet.
Assistant Expedition Leader, Liz Pope, has been leading groups of intrepid travellers around the Polar Regions with Aurora Expeditions since 2009 and her expertise and knowledge has allowed travellers to gain a deeper understanding of these fascinating places. Liz will be joining us to speak on all things Antarctica and Arctic in what will be an inspiring and informative evening.
