Event description

Description

The Yulgilbar Alzheimer’s Research Program, a generous initiative from the Yulgilbar Foundation and Bails and Sarah Myer, is dedicated to supporting the most innovative research into dementia.

We focus on
support that could have an impact on treatment of patients with Alzheimer’s disease; our objective is to contribute to delaying the onset of the disease, and/or treating it effectively in its early stages.

We
endeavour to support younger clinicians and scientists, in the hope this will help them to become leading researchers in the field as they move into more senior positions.

We have an active
PhD support program, and fund half a dozen groups generously. Members of some of these groups will speak at our Annual Meeting on the afternoon of October 18, and you are invited to hear their results and discuss their approaches with them after the talks.
