There any many benefits in being outdoors and with wildlife
- Nature brings the best out of children
- Increases resilience and the ability to negotiate risks.
- Social benefits.
- Physical and mental benefits.
- Promotes 'smartness'
- Improves self-confidence.
- Improves nutrition, reduces obesity.
- Improves health and reduces illness.
Seeing animals in real life is a much more immersive experience than reading about them in books or watching them on screens; kids can feel more connected to the creatures. By helping them develop empathy and compassion, they’ll be more likely to care about how humans impact our nature where animals live.
