Event description

Description

Rangers at the Darebin Parklands discovered Indian Mynas were the cause of the decrease in the Eastern Rosella population. Using video cameras to research actual Myna behaviour they established evidence of the impact of this feral species. Working with the local Council and Community they have establised a very sucessfull managment and trapping program. There have been positive results in terms of the birds that have returned or increased in number in the Darebin Parklands.
