a 7 week online learning immersion

About this event

If you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, we waive your registration fee. please get in touch if you'd like to participate in this learning program.


in this learning series we explore foundational ideas and concepts for systems thinking as well as share a few methods and case examples from practice.

in the sessions we will have a mixture of lecturing as well as peer learning and engagement.

we encourage you to register with a team to help ground the learning and to build shared knowledge for applying systems thinking going forward.


sessions will run once a week for 7 weeks, each wednesday. the first session will commence on february 2nd , and the final one on march 16th, 3:00pm - 5:00pm, melbourne time

the webinar series will also include 1-2 optional readings. recordings of each session will be made available.

participants are REQUIRED to have both video and audio for the virtual sessions. we will be using the zoom platform to connect.

about the organizer

the systems school is focused on building capacity for systems thinking with individuals, teams, organizations and collaboratives.

dr. seanna davidson, director of the systems school

seanna was born in canada and immigrated to australia in 2015. she is now based on Wadawarrung country on the traditional and unceded lands of the Kulin Nation. seanna is a systems practitioner and process designer and works with individuals and groups to unpack complex problems through the use of systems thinking, reflective practice and action learning. seanna’s mission is to build capacity for systems thinking because she believes that profound systems change begins from where we stand in the system. a geographer by training, seanna’s work draws across disciplines to explore and uncover patterns and change within social spaces. seanna has developed and delivered over 50 systems thinking capacity building workshops and action learning sessions in australia in the last 5 years.
