Description

The Victorian Branch of Soil Science Australia in collaboration with the Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association (ACLCA), are holding an information evening on the theme of careers involving soil science and related technologies. The evening should be of particular interest to students with backgrounds in agricultural science, science, environmental science and engineering who would like to work in soil related areas. A panel of speakers has been assembled to provide information and advice on career planning. The evening will also include time for informal discussion with the speakers and drinks and pizza will be provided.

Speakers on the panel will include –

Jessica Drake – professional scientist with the Victorian EPA

Cameron Gourley - Senior Research Scientist, Soils and Land Management Agriculture Victoria Research

Will McCance – ACLCA (Young Professionals Committee secretary) / Project Manager/Environmental Engineer, BlueSphere Environmental

Nikki Kehridakis – Project Manager (Environmental Scientist), AECOM
