Question 2

How much are the tickets?

Tickets are priced at $550 including GST for a standard ticket and $699 for a VIP ticket.

Question 3

What is included in a standard ticket?

Accepted Answer

Ticket includes a dinner ticket to the event. A 3 course meal will be served, in an alternative drop format at designated tables with a drinks package. Ticket also included a presentation with Chris Appleton as well as dancing and a DJ.

What is in the drinks package?

Beer, wine, sparkling and soft drinks are included. A small selection of base spirits will also be included as well as elevated non-alcoholic options.

What is included in a VIP ticket?

All elements of a standard ticket are included with the addition of an earlier start at 5.30pm at the Cameo Bar on the 80th Floor of the Ritz Carlton for drinks and nibbles. This will be a 1 hour event. Drinks will be beer, wine, sparkling wine, base spirits with 1-2 cocktail selections also.

Will Chris be in attendance at the VIP drinks?

Chris will not be in attendance at this part of the evening, some of our Australian Color Wow ambassadors will be there to celebrate. There are only up to 50 tickets available for this experience. We will also ensure that VIP ticket holders are seated closest to the stage with an elevated gift bag.

I have a VIP ticket but my friend who is also going does not, can we sit together?

If both parties wish to sit together, the VIP ticket holder will have to forgo their position at a table closest to the stage.

Question 8

Can I get a photo with Chris?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, Chris is not available for formal photo opportunities due to the capacity of the event. You are however welcome to take photos or video of Chris on stage.

Question 9

What is alternative drop?

Accepted Answer

At a formal event, two different menus are served, with 50% of the guests getting the meals from Menu A, and 50% getting the meals from Menu B. Every second person at the table gets the "alternate" menu. You may wish to do a swap with another at the table if that suits better.

What is the date & time of the event?

Sunday 15th October, 2023. For a VIP ticket, your evening will commence at 5.30pm at the Cameo Bar Ritz-Carlton Building situated on the 80th floor, strictly VIP’s only. For standard tickets, we will be commencing welcome drinks at 6.30pm in the Grand Ballroom Foyer on Level 1, for seating at 7pm.

Where is the Venue?

The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is located at 650 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne VIC, 3000. It is on the corner of Lonsdale and Spencer Streets.

I’m from interstate, where can I stay?

Accepted Answer

We have a discounted rate at the venue, the Ritz-Carlton. Booking link will be advised. We also have a more budget friendly option at The Dorsett Hotel Melbourne. When booking, click the ‘lock’ button and register your details to access a better rate.

Question 13

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

We encourage you not to drive due to the service of alcohol at the event. Ritz-Carlton only has parking available to guests at a cost, however you may choose to park at the Wilson Car Park, Spencer Street, booking online will give you the best rates.

What alternative transport is there?

Accepted Answer

The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is based in the CBD and is therefore easily accessible by the public transport network. It is very close to Southern Cross Station on Spencer Street. You may wish to consider ride shares or Taxis also.

What is the sales period?

Tickets will be sold until approximately 2 weeks before the event, unless sold out prior.

Where do we book?

Can I put the tickets on my Haircare Group account?

Tickets cannot be put on your account; they must be paid for through Eventbrite.

Question 18

Do I need to bring a print of my tickets?

Accepted Answer

You will either need a printout of your tickets or a copy of your confirmation email on your phone that clearly shows the Eventbrite  
check-in barcode for scanning.

Question 19

I'm buying tickets for staff members but not sure who will attend yet, what name should I give?

Accepted Answer

You can book all of your tickets in your name. Closer to the event we may be in touch to get your final names, if not your tickets will be under the original booking name and you should remind your guests to look for this in the seating plan.

Can we bring our partners?

Additional tickets must be purchased for partners.

Question 21

If I register for the event but am unable to attend, can I send someone else?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are non-transferable however please contact our customer service team and we can address on a case-by-case basis.

What happens if I forget to bring the phone with the booking or if someone booked on my behalf?

In this situation only, we will have a list of names of ticket holders, so bring along your identification and we can admit you.

Can I buy a whole table?

Accepted Answer

Tables will in multiples of 8. You may buy 8 tickets and will place you all on the same table. If you buy less than 8, you may have other attendees at your table placed by Haircare Group.

Question 24

I want to sit with my friends who have tickets, is this possible?

Accepted Answer

We can take your requests but cannot guarantee to place you with friends unless you book in the same booking.

Question 25

How do I ensure my table is in a good position?

Accepted Answer

The earlier you book, the better position you will receive in terms of proximity to the stage. VIP guests are guaranteed to get the seats closer to the stage unless they have opted to sit with a non-VIP customer.

What happens if the event is cancelled for any reason?

Accepted Answer

If cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a refund minus Eventbrite admin fees will be issued to patrons. Should we reschedule, you will be given first option to re-purchase tickets. Haircare Group is not responsible for any travel arrangements you may have made.

What should I wear?

The dress code for the event is Formal. Formal is considered a step up from Cocktail and well above casual. A well-fitted suit with or without any kind of tie, dressy jumpsuit, or any length dress, is appropriate. Jeans or should would not be considered appropriate attire for a Formal dress code.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

We will make every effort to cater for your dietary requirements including Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal and Gluten or Diary Free. Allergies need to be addressed at the time of booking, but food preferences cannot be catered for due to the scale of the event.

Who is responsible for Dietary Requirements?

We can't 100% guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in our food and the company explicitly accepts no liability. For serious food allergies we want our customers to make their own decisions on consuming their meals. Dietary requirements can only be catered for if outlined at time of booking

What will the menu be?

We will offer a 3 course menu that will be served as alternative drop due to the size of the event. We will aim to provide two varied options for each course.

A selection of beer, wine and sparkling wine as well as a varied menu of non alcoholic drinks will be available.

Can I buy drinks other than those covered in the package?

You may buy spirits or other wine and beer selections at your own cost which must be paid for by you on the evening.

You cannot bring your own drinks. Some drinks are inclusive of your ticket price, and others will be available for purchase.

The Ritz-Carlton is also a 5 star hotel and we can offer a discounted rate via the link below. However, being in the CBD, there are plenty of nearby accommodation options.

Is the venue accessible?

The Ritz Carlton actively welcomes people with access needs and is a wheelchair friendly venue. If you have any specific needs or queries we are happy to raise them and come back to you.

Will there be somewhere to smoke or vape?

Smoking & vaping is not be permitted in the venue however we are very close to the entrance and a smoking and vaping area is available there.

Can I upgrade my ticket to a VIP ticket at a later date?

We only have a very limited number of VIP tickets available. If you enquire with us, we can assess if we have any availability and may be able to refund your ticket in order to purchase a VIP ticket instead.

Is this an all ages event?

The event is licenced and therefore is 18+ only. Valid photo ID is required if you wish to consume Alcoholic drinks.

My Apprentice is underage but a valued member of our team, can they come along?

Please contact our customer service team in order to gain special permission. A minor may be required to wear a special wrist band which identifies them to venue staff.

Can I get a tax receipt?

The Eventbrite site will provide you with a tax receipt at booking for any purchased tickets.

Can I pay at the venue on the day?

We will not be receiving bookings or payments on the day at the venue.

If the event is sold out, can I turn up on the day and try and get in?

No, once sold out, there are no more tickets that can be issued.

I forgot to add an dietary requirement, can I add it later?

So long as it’s at least two weeks before the event, you can inform our customer service team.

Can I buy drinks other than those covered in the package?

Accepted Answer

As we have made an effort to have an assortment of drinks, we cannot guarantee that all beverage requests can be catered for as we do not have a staffed bar to cater for options outside of our selections.
