Event description
Building understandings for Early Childhood Professionals on how our sensory systems effects learning, development & behaviour

About this Event

The early years are a critical period for developing neuro connections through sensory experiences. Our whole body is designed as a refined sensory receptor for receiving information.

This seminar will provide educational professionals with understandings of how essential sensory input is to learning, development and behaviour as children’s brains grow and develop.

Discussions will focus on expanding knowledge of 8 of our sensory systems and how vital these understandings are for facilitating an intentional environment, experiences and opportunites that cater to the varying sensory needs of children and foster optimal development of the architecture of the brain through integration.

This is an informative seminar that will translate theory into practice and provide strategies that will change the way you view behaviour, sensory needs and neurodiversity to faciltate inclusive environments where all children can thrive.
