Join celebrated author, Tim Winton and fellow ocean lovers at a fundraiser to support the Australian Marine Conservation Society and our ocean wildlife.
Join us. Be inspired. Great prizes. Great cause. Save our seas.
Ticket price includes a drink on arrival and canapés. A cash bar will be open (with drink proceeds going to the Bronte Surf Lifesaving Club). Tim will be giving a speech at around 3pm (exact time TBC).
All funds will support the work of the Australian Marine Conservation Society, Australia’s only national charity dedicated to protecting our oceans.
“Fighting for healthy oceans isn’t some kind of hippy indulgence. It’s not a hobby, a way to make us feel good about ourselves. It’s not a marginal issue – it’s mainstream work. This is a battle to secure a future for our kids, to make sure human life is viable here on earth. Maybe I’m a weirdo, but that doesn’t sound to me like some kind of fringe interest”
