NOTE: This event is only for Australian Defence Force members and their families.

Richmond ADF families, we are running our FamilySMART and KidSMART workshops concurrently on 5 December from 10.00am to 12.30pm.

The FamilySMART workshop explores the challenges of relocation, stress management techniques and community support available to assist families in their new posting location.

The KidSMART program helps children of ADF members identify and build on their strengths, teaches them techniques to cope with the stressors of the military lifestyle, and helps them enhance their resilience, self-reliance and proactivity.

This KidSMART workshop is aimed at primary school aged children, focusing on relocation and will run concurrently with the FamilySMART workshop for the adults, held at the same venue.

Parents of attending children are required to remain onsite during the workshop. You are encouraged to register for FamilySMART, or alternatively you are welcome to observe KidSMART.

Please bring a packed lunch with you to the workshop so that we can eat together in a COVID safe environment at the end of the workshop.

Be sure to register by 1 December 2020.

In line with government regulations and our COVID Safe Plan, tickets for this event will be limited to ensure we practice safe social distancing.

When registering for a ticket, please get one for each adult or child attending and provide your contact details (mobile number and home address). In the event of a local COVID-19 outbreak or a positive COVID-19 test result of a person you may have been in contact with, your contact details will be provided for contact tracing if directed by the Department of Health.

If you or someone in your family are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms on the day (fever/chills/cough/fatigue), please stay at home. If you display flu-like symptoms at the event, our staff will kindly ask you to return home and seek medical advice.

Antibacterial wipes and hand sanitiser will be available at the event. Attendees are asked to make use of the hygiene measures available on arrival at the event and again when departing.

If you become unable to attend the event, please cancel your booking by clicking on the link in your confirmation email ‘View and manage your order online’. This takes you to your ‘Tickets’ page where you can choose the ‘Cancel my Order’ option to release the tickets back to the event listing.
