About this Event
NOTE: This event is only for Australian Defence Force members and their families.
ADF members and families in the Darwin area, are invited to join us for our ‘Cyclone awareness information sessions’. Presented by the Northern Territory Emergency Service, the sessions will provide important information about cyclone awareness to assist families in preparation for the cyclone season.
There are two sessions times available on 4 November:
Day session: 10.00am – 11.00am
Evening session: 5.30pm – 6.30pm
In line with government regulations and our COVID Safe Plan, tickets for this event are limited to ensure we practice safe social distancing. You must be registered in order to attend.
Registrations will close on 28 October 2020, unless the event is fully booked earlier. When you arrive at the event you will be asked to show your ticket (either printed or electronic).
- When registering for a ticket, please get one for each person attending (including each child). You will be required to provide your mobile number and home address as part of this process. In the event of a local COVID-19 outbreak or a positive COVID-19 test result of a person you may have been in contact with, your contact details will be provided for contact tracing if directed by the Department of Health.
- In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the Northern Territory Government has implemented a staged lifting of restrictions.
- The recommencement of events and public gatherings is founded upon physical distancing and hygiene principles to protect the community from the spread of COVID-19. As DCO NT are following the NT Government Covid-19 restrictions/regulations please remember to check the SecureNT website for current restrictions/regulations @ https://coronavirus.nt.gov.au/
- While we can’t wait to see everyone, we will have limited numbers, maintain social distance and have to make sure all attendees are registered as required by the NT Government. (check SecureNT website: https://coronavirus.nt.gov.au/ for updated restrictions and requirements)
- Those in high-risk groups are encouraged to engage with us online for now instead.
- Hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes will be provided.
Please cancel your booking if you are unable to attend. You can do this by clicking on the link in your confirmation email ‘View and manage your order online’. This takes you to your ‘Tickets’ page where you can choose the ‘Cancel my Order’ option to release the tickets back to the event listing.
