This event is designed for residents who may have irbyana growing on or near their properties. There are two sessions, a morning workshop with presentations about irbyana in Logan, recovery efforts, living with irbyana, and advice on property management. This will be a great opportunity to meet experts in the field and learn about the important role you can play in helping this species.

Morning tea will be served following the workshop.

For younger people, there will then be a BioBlitz activity – a fun, outdoors, hands-on experience to discover the wonder of an irbyana community and for children to learn about this important plant. As this activity is outdoors, participants will be required to have covered shoes, hats, sun protection, and water bottles. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.

Session 1 Adult workshop: Registration at 8.45am for a 9am start. Finishing at 10am followed by a morning tea.

Session 2 Kid’s BioBlitz activity: Registration at 10.30am for an 11am start. Finishing at 12pm. Suitable for ages 10-16.
