All Abilities Gardening Seminar
Tue. 9 May 2017, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm AEST
The Royal Rehab Productive Garden Project is an everyday setting used as a context and mechanism for rehabilitation. People undertaking rehabilitation following injury, illness or surgery use the Productive Garden as part of their rehabilitation.
This seminar will outline the philosophy behind the Productive Garden Project and the guiding principles used to make decisions during both the design phase and its ongoing operation. The program will include client and clinicians experiences as well as some valuable insights into the contribution of volunteers. There will be time for Q&A as well as a visit to the Royal Rehab Productive Garden itself, and possibly even the chance to get dirty!
