Travel to investigate. Return to innovate!

Travel overseas to investigate inspiring practices that benefit Australian communities on a Churchill Fellowship!

This unique award provides a platform for you to connect, collaborate and learn from global experts and like-minded peers to achieve the best outcomes for a project you design, in any field.

The Churchill Trust, in partnership with your local Churchill Fellows' Association (CFA), is on the road throughout February and March to deliver a National Roadshow of Information Sessions about the 2018 Churchill Fellowship opportunity.

Listen to some of our extraordinary Churchill Fellows share their Fellowship experiences, impart insights on their fascinating projects and motivate you with what they have achieved since returning to Australia.

We are excited to announce that Independent MP for Indi and Churchill Fellow Cathy McGowan will be speaking at our Albury session with two other outstanding Churchill Fellows Matthew Pfahlert (Rural Entrepreneurship Leader) and Sarah Crooke (Dairy Farmer and Gundowring Ice Cream Producer)!

Discuss your project ideas and gain helpful advice on how to apply!

It is free to attend these sessions but bookings are essential.

We look forward to seeing you in The Elizabeth Room at the Albury Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 20 February!

Churchill Trust

The Churchill Trust was established in 1965 following the death of Sir Winston Churchill. The Trust was formed with the principal objective of perpetuating and honouring Sir Winston Churchill’s memory by the awarding of Memorial Fellowships to be known as ‘Churchill Fellowships’.

The high international regard for Churchill Fellowships provides a pathway for Fellows to access expertise from around the world to expand their knowledge and experience. There is a high level of visibility and credibility associated with being a Churchill Fellow.

A Churchill Fellowship is a remarkable opportunity to research a topic or an issue that you are passionate about. It is for anyone who feels they have exhausted opportunities within Australia and would like to see what overseas has to offer.

No prescribed qualifications are required in order to apply for a Churchill Fellowship. The subject of the proposed project is limitless provided a benefit to Australia is evident and a willingness to share the research findings with the Australian community is displayed.
